Worcester Park came into the game with us comfortably top of the league and so far unbeaten so we were always going to have a tough game and the start proved this with the visitors going two goals ahead early on.
For a few moments it looked like it would be a repeat of the home defeat against Bedfont, but we dug our heels in and got ourselves back into the game by playing some nice football, using strength and hold up play coupled with pace on the wings to force our way back into the match and looked like we could nick a goal before half time. Worcester Park had a man sent off just before half time and we went in at two nil down.
We were excellent in the second half and went at the visitors from the word go. Every single player was up for it and determined nit to lose the game and a draw looked likely when Evo popped up in the box to net our first on 60 minutes - a smart finish and well deserved. We then went on to get an equalider on 80 minutes; a similar goal and this time Skeddy popped up in a similar position with a smart effort into the near corner. We certainly deserved to draw the match and with all the posession and chances we had created we now realised we had time to go and win the game. With bags of time to be added through injuries and substitutions we carried on the way we played all half and pounded the Worcester goal and with only a few minutes to go Neemsy tucked away a smart build up by placing the ball into the same corner Evo and Skeddy had put their goals.
In the end a well deserved win and the second half was undoubtably thebest perfromance of the season so far - with more effort, concentration and discipline like that we can now mount a serious challenge in this league for a top 2/3 finish. Worcester Park will be hard to beat in this league and their play suggested exactly why they are top of the league but having now played most of the top sides in the league we should now know what needs to be done.
