During the 2009 /10 season the Groundsman responsible for providing Eversley FC with the excellent playing surface we enjoyed throughout the season were nominated for Groundsman of the year at levels 5 & 6 of the National Football League.
We are delighted to announce that the FA have recognised the hard work of the Eversley Groundsman in maintaining the high standard of the pitch through out the season, despite the difficulties caused by the severe winter weather and have awarded our ground the status of “Highly Commended”. This places the pitch at The Pen amongst the top 5 in the UK at our level.
Our congratulations and thanks go to all of the ground staff involved with making the playing surface a pleasure for us to play on, we are all delighted that their efforts have been recognised and look forward to seeing them presented with their Certificate by the FA later this year at Wembley Stadium.
