The season petered out for the 1st team with a narrow defeat against a bogey side of ours this season. Despite dominating the second period, a dire first half by Eversley saw them go in to the half time break 2 goals down.

Last night’s draw at Frimley Green was the Boars 12 game in the last 4 weeks and the signs are evident that the players are mentally and physically drained. Both sides could have won this game

CB Hounslow left Fox Lane and despite Eversley having 2 goals disallowed probably just about deserved their victory. The visitors started brightly and could have been 2 goals to the good had Andy Rowe not stood firm in the Eversley goal.

The Boars suffered their first defeat in 7 games against a robust Westfield side. An early goal conceded for the 3rd time in the last 4 games made this an uphill struggle and we paid the penalty as the home side gleefully took advantage.

Eversley made it two derby victories over Easter with a gritty and committed performance against promotion chasing Hartley Wintney. Croydon Municipal breezed in to the final of the league cup with a convincing if somewhat flattering 4-1 victory at Fox Lane. It could have been a different story on a day when the Boars were nowhere near their best but arguably still had the chances to win this game.

Eversley Jeckall & Hyde season continued but after last week`s Dr Jeckall performance against lowly Sheerwater the Boars bounced back with a superb victory against top of the table Worcester Park, sending them to only their 3rd league defeat of the season.
