After a disappointing performance in the Hampshire Cup last week, we were looking for a much improved display this week against Reigate Priory Reserves. The weather was again pretty horrendous, however the Waveley pitch was in quite good condition and there should be no excuses for not playing our football.

We welcomed Fleet Spurs A from the Aldershot and District League Division 1 to the Waveley Sports Complex for our Hampshire Cup 2nd Round match. The weather conditions were abysmal, but the playing surface was in good condition and we were in confident mood going into the game.

This week the reserves played Oakley Athletic from the Basingstoke & District Premier Division in the Hampshire Junior A Cup. We didn’t really know much about the opposition, apart from they have better communication within their club than Bedfont, as they were able to find the ground without any problems.
